Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role of Bo. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk were the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and plays the role of drama instructor on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother while at work, and also attending play rehearsals. Silk starred in numerous commercials for kids. Silk was a graduate of St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto for her acting to improve, before moving she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007, when they met at an actor'sworkshop located in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009, and then married at a civil ceremony that December. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton, after the woman was converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. In 2009 she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show the good news that she had become pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3 during an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase at the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the premiere. Silk announced on Twitter on the 20th of June, 2013 that the production was set to begin on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4 of the show. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name in Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples ever. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its popularity on social media has grown to a huge internet following.
