Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones is an American actress from the United States. She is best known for the role of Megan Dennison, on The Young and the Restless and Bridget Forrester, on The Bold and the Beautiful. The actress also played the character role of Daphne in the second season of the HBO drama True Blood. Ashley Jones received a Bachelor of Human Learning for K-8 at the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1997. She began her teaching career in Maury County teaching Reading to Kindergarten and 1st grade. After she married the love of her life and UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones in 1998, she relocated from Thompsons Station to Thompsons Station. There she began teaching 4th class at Bethesda Elementary. The years 1999 and 2000 saw her taught while getting her masters in instruction from Trevecca Nazarene University but stepped off the teaching side when the family welcomed their son Baylor into the family in 2000. Ashley spent her last 15 years in service to the community and focusing on children's development at the church she was a part of as well as in the community she lived in. Ashley is director of the Preschool Ministry as well as in the Students Ministry for over 13 years. Ashley homeschooled her three children for three years during the time she was her home. When they were at home, the kids attended a tutoring session at which Ashley was a teacher of History during Kindergarten and the First Grade. Ashley loved being at home with her family and loved teaching her children. But, God made it clear that it was time for the family to move back to school full-time. Brent and Ashley both have five children. Silas Eliza Cruz and Cruz, all GCA students. Baylor is a GCA graduate who plays baseball and attends UT-Martin. Callan is a GCA graduand also attends Western Kentucky University. Family members are very active and enjoys fishing, hunting, and assisting each other in sports.
