Holly is the third woman in history to have been married. She first got married to actor Danny Quinn. They got married in 1991, then divorced two years later. Jim Carrey and she first came across each other in 1994, while doing auditions for Ace Ventura Pet Detective. The two actors didn't land the role however, they began to bond during filming Dumb and Dumber. The couple was married in. The couple divorced in less than one year. In 2001, she got married to Francis Greco. He was a Canadian investment banker. They had three sons, Henry, George and Alexander Holly Greco. As she married Greco, in 2008 she was granted Canadian citizenship. Their divorce took place in 2014. Holly as well as her three kids reside in Oakville Ontario Canada. Holly, Grant Grant's family along with the Hobart William Smith Colleges established an A Fund to honour her brother Alexander. Holly stated that Alexander "was a boy who had many hopes, dreams and goals". He was 14 years old when he passed away and he traveled extensively throughout Central America and Europe, had lived in New York City, and Los Angeles. His experiences led him to study architecture and archaeology.

Alaina Suddeth was born Rossville, Georgia, on the 8th of November, 1994. She was married to Kristy Suddeth, and J. J. Suddeth. The father of Alaina, who is a process engineer based in Tennessee started singing when she was three. After a year-long vacation, she sang in the children's choir. She sang in churches, restaurants, at social gatherings with family, and all within 30 miles from her home. Alaina was the winner of in the Southern Stars Pageant talent contest at age 8. The following year Alaina won the competition to showcase talent for children at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. In the following years, she was performing every year on this stage until 12, when the contest that enabled her to take part on the main stage of the festival was won. As a ten-year-old she travelled from Florida across the state to Orlando in order to compete in the American Model and Talent Competition. She won more than 1500 children during the contest. Alaina sang with the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association children's choir. Alaina's first trip to Nashville was at the age of 12 years old. She performed at Tootsie's and at other local bars along Broadway. The year 2009 was the year Alaina was the first winner of the WinniSTAR youth talent competition at Lake Winnepesaukah amusement park.In addition to singing, Alaina wrote several songs including Leaving and the song Set Me Free. Her cousin Holly Witherow was diagnosed with brain cancer, which inspired her to start singing. Alaina was employed by CiC's Pizza prior to her becoming a part of Idol. She was a graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe School, Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
